Ms. Elizabeth Hill

Ms. Elizabeth Hill, AGNP, RN, CWOCN

Ms. Hill has been a registered nurse for over 10 years and a nurse practitioner for more than 4 years. She is native to the suburbs of Philadelphia and completed her nursing undergraduate degree at Penn State University. Upon graduation, she moved to the Washington DC area and completed a nurse residency program at Georgetown University Hospital while working on a medical surgical floor specializing in ENT/urology/GI surgeries and breast reconstruction. Elizabeth returned to school while working and completed a program to become Wound, Ostomy, Continence certified and used that knowledge to work in home health for 3 years. For the last 7 years, she has been the treasurer for the WOC nurses society DC affiliate. Upon completion of her Adult-Gerontology nurse practitioner program at George Washington University, Elizabeth continued to work in the community/home health setting and joined a geriatrics practice focused on individuals who are unable to leave their homes to visit their primary care providers. Elizabeth recently moved back to the area and is looking forward to continuing her journey in the community medicine and geriatrics specialties. Elizabeth is also published in the Journal of Food Science with her research concerning intestinal heme iron absorption. Elizabeth is dedicated to her patients and highly values patient-centered and family-centered care.
